The great son of Modern India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel inspired establishment of Charutar Vidya Mandal in 1945-46 and today CVM is largest education trust in Gujarat running more than 50 educational institutions. As a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, we have decided to develop a unique Research Institute called “Centre for Studies and Research on Life and Works of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (CERLIP),”
Being the first and only one Research Institute in the entire country to this noble cause, it will not only offer academic research programmes leading to P h. D. but also facilitate scholar of National and International Repute who will contribute in the area of Sardar Patel studies. This would involve short-term and full scale research projects on various aspects of Life and Works of Sardar Patel such as studies in History, Political Science and Socio-economic policies, Governance, Hermeneutic, and Translation Studies etc.
The aim of this course is to impart quality education in the area of Arts and Humanity. As well as to develop students for Nation Building through social and affordable education.
I, therefore, appeal to the students, intellectual and enlightened people of India and the world to interact with the faculty at CERLIP and contribute in creating the knowledge-based as tribute to the creator of Unified Modern India.
